Policies

Please review our policies before your first visit to ensure the best experience for your pup and all the dogs in our care.

Current on required vaccinations (Bordetella, Rabies, DHPP Distemper Combo) at least 72 hours before reservation.
All puppies must be 12 weeks of age and current on Bordetella and DHPP Distemper Combo.
On a regular flea and tick preventative.
In good health for the last 14 days prior to check-in, including all surgeries.
Not aggressive nor has shown signs of aggression to other dogs or humans.
Must have a leash when entering and exiting Amarillo Fetch.

We encourage all new dogs to complete a full day of daycare before any boarding reservation or membership purchase.
If not possible prior to boarding, we require an emergency contact who can pick up your pup if they show signs of uneasy or stressful behavior.

Bring your dog's food in a labeled container or bag, plus any treats or medications.
Do not pre-bag medications with your dog's food — staff will set up medications upon check-in.
Please don't bring toys, beds, or bowls — all are provided by our facility.
No rawhides or bones (choking hazard). Label all items you bring.

Deposits canceled more than 48 hours in advance will be returned as store credit.
Deposits on stays canceled within 48 hours are non-refundable.
Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance incur no fee.
Cancellations or no-shows within 48 hours will be charged a cancellation fee.
All deposits on reservations for Spring Break, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day are non-refundable.

At least 24 hours' notice required to cancel or reschedule a grooming appointment.
Cancellations within 24 hours incur a $40 cancellation fee charged to the card on file.
The $40 fee is applied per client, not per dog, even if rescheduled.

We do not accept collars containing chains, shock collars, or prong collars.
Dogs in the back of pickup trucks will not be allowed on Amarillo Fetch property.
Dogs MUST be on a leash when on Amarillo Fetch property.
Amarillo Fetch is not responsible for injuries to off-leash dogs.

All dogs must be up to date on flea/tick prevention.
Dogs found with fleas/ticks will receive a bath at the owner's expense and be sprayed with our essential oil flea repellant.

We accept unaltered dogs but they must be on the human time path if over 12 months of age.
Unaltered dogs may be placed in playgroups with dogs of the opposite gender only, at the discretion of our trainers.
Unaltered females: you MUST have an emergency contact to pick up your dog if they go into heat. Dogs in heat are not accepted on property.

We do not have breed restrictions, but we build playgroups around your dog's breed, size, and personality.
All play is supervised. Warning signs of aggression will result in the dog being moved to a 'human time only' plan.

All clients must sign a photography release so photos may be posted to our social media.
If you are not comfortable having your dog photographed, this might not be the right facility for you.
